Hundreds of bikes donated to Charlie's Freewheels

Stay involved in the lives of young people and in your community. Your support makes a difference. You have the opportunity to support the Charlie's Freewheels program by helping in four different ways.

Donate money now.

Make an annual, monthly or one-time donation. Donate on line, by phone or with a cheque. In choosing your level of giving, please keep in mind the following:

  • $600 A scholarship for a Charlie’s FreeWheels Bike Mechanic Session
  • $300 "Earn-A-Bike" program – a less structured class where kids learn to fix bikes, do community service, and earn a bike of their own
Please make cheques donations out to Charles Prinsep Arts Initiative and send it to our address: 242.5 Queen Street East, Toronto, Ontario M5A 1S3.

Please Note: We looking towards attaining charitable status, however your donations are not currently tax deductible.

Donate your bike.

We depend on the bikes, parts, tools and even consumables brought in as donations by people like you, who cannot stand to see good resources going to waste. We thrive because of our community's generous support. Learn about bicycle donations in our FAQ.

Volunteer your time.

Charlie’s Bike Shop and our youth programs simply couldn't function without our tremendous volunteer support! Please consider contributing your time, skills and energy to Charlie's Freewheels. From individual efforts to large group projects, there is a volunteer opportunity for everybody. There are volunteer jobs available for all skill levels and interests. Please call or email us for information about volunteering.

Make us your bike shop.

Our bike and accessory sales raises our annual operating budget and helps to support all our programs. Making us your bike shop for purchases and repairs will contribute to our ability to deliver on our mission. Gift certificates make great, meaningful gifts to the bike-lover in your life.
